Free Electronic Recycling – Scott Decker’s Eagle Project

Every year millions of unwanted, broken, or obsolete electronics end up in land fills. Theses items often contain chemicals hazardous to the environment such as heavy metals.

Event Information

Location: Saint Luke’s UMC (box located on the first floor of the Luke’s Lodge building AND Eagle Creek Community Church (located in the main lobby).

Times: Event will be open indefinitely if it is successful. Electronics can be dropped at Saint Luke’s on Sundays and Monday nights 7:00pm -8:30pm and at Eagle Creek Community Church on Sundays from 10:30am -12:00pm.

Scrap electronics also can be recycled to recover useful materials. For example computer boards often contain a thin layer of gold.

A certified recycling company can extract this usable material and safely dispose of toxins as well.

We want all of your waste electronics!
